Dewaterer Conveyor

The QUILTON Dewaterer Conveyor (QTC) is a device that only requires a single operation to perform the transport and compacting of filtering rejects in treatment plants or in industrial processes.

The QUILTON Dewaterer Conveyor may also be supplied as a stand-alone press with a reduced transport area.

Depending on the applications, the water lost in the rejects at the outlet is around 30 to 40%.

The conveyor discharges in the pressing section where the transport spiral is surrounded by a drum-screen.

The end of the spiral does not extend to the end of the QUILTON Dewaterer Conveyor. This ensures rejects are collected and compacted.

The adjustment of the length of the conveyor and of the pressure exerted by the outlet (fitted with springs) allows for regulating compaction.

This equipment normally operates on a sporadic basis and the result is not affected by variations in feed.

ADVANTAGES

Transport and pressing are performed in a single QUILTON Dewaterer Conveyor and the standard total length amounts to approximately 10 m .

The "pushing" action and the design of the spiral discharging freely into the compacting area ensure safe operation without the risk of blockage at the inlet or outlet.

The QUILTON Dewaterer Conveyor is supplied with:

  • a sealing system for the drive shaft
  • drainage area with brush
  • cleaning ramp in the pressing area
  • connecting pipe for the single-point removal of all waters from drainage and pressing.
