TritonTM is a filter underdrain system totally made of stainless steel. It’s a direct retention of the filtering media. The Tritonä underdrain design is based on Johnson screens technology of the stainless steel wedge-wire welded to “U” shaped channel rods.. These channel rods are perforated in order to allow uniform distribution of air/ air+water/water during washing.
Its main functions are:
- Maintain media filter bed (sand, activated carbon, anthracite,…)
- Drain and collect filtered water
- Ensure homogeneous distribution of air and water during backwash phases
Its principal advantages are:
